Cover art This short piece was actually written for my own family to perform during a huge ice storm that shut down everything here for a week. We premiered the piece at the Alexandria Baptist Church in Alexandria, Ohio, as part of their Christmas morning worship service in 2003.

It is a fairly easy piece that should be readily accessible to many groups.

If played with flutes, the bottom part can optionally be played on an alto flute. If with recorders, it is designed for two sopranos, one alto, and one tenor.
