Holy! SATB with handbells and organ accompaniment |
Intended to be the second in a collection of anthems titled Songs from the Revelation. The text is taken from the Revelation of St. John, chapter 4, verses 8 and 11. This piece exists in two versions: The original one is a little more challenging and written in 7/4. A second one is more accessible for most choirs and is written mostly in 4/4. This piece was premiered in the Spring of 2008, by the Chancel Choir of Centenary United Methodist Church in Granville, OH. The demo recordings here were done using electro-acoustic instruments. |
