The text is taken from the “Revelation of St. John”, chapter 4, verses 8 and 11.

This piece exists in two versions:

The original one is a little more challenging and written entirely in 7/4.
A second one is probably more accessible for most choirs and is written mostly in 4/4.

This piece was premiered in the Spring of 2008, by the Chancel Choir of Centenary United Methodist Church in Granville, OH.
